Students have many opportunities to participate in the decision-making process through the Student Government Association and Student Senate.
Student Government is composed of a group of active students involved in representing the interests of the Associated Students of BCC. Participation allows a student to work cooperatively with faculty, staff and administration. This organization is not only for people whose ultimate career goal is to work in government or law, but for anyone who wants to get involved.
Student Government Association's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, programming various cultural and entertainment activities, allocating funds to student clubs and organizations and representing students' interests on various college committees.
