Tutoring
Need a little help in a tough course this semester? Or maybe you've been away from school for awhile and need some "brush-up" to get back in the groove. BCC's free Tutoring Program can help.

Getting A Tutor
Burlington County College offers a free peer-tutoring program for all currently enrolled BCC students. Any student needing academic assistance should stop by or call the Tutoring Office to fill out a REQUEST FOR TUTOR FORM to start the procedure for getting help. Please have your student ID # available at this time. To take the best advantage of this great resource, do not wait too long in a semester before seeking help.

Walk – In Tutoring                                                                                                                 Walk-in tutoring sessions take place in Mt. Laurel (TEC 110) and Pemberton (Library rooms 201/202). The Tutor Centers work on a first come, first served basis. Tutor time may be restricted if there are many people seeking help at the same time. It is best to have prepared questions for these sessions. Of course, you may get extended time at the discretion of the tutor when no other students are waiting. Tutor judgment applies in all instances. Willingboro and Mt. Holly Centers do not currently have walk-in services.

Appointment Tutoring
Appointment tutoring is designed for those students who need more in depth service and cannot be addressed in a shorter walk-in session. Tutoring is done on a one-to-one basis by appointment.
Appointment tutoring is available on all campuses pending tutor availability. This form of tutoring is available for 2 hours per week per subject with a request for each subject.

Becoming a Tutor
Contact the tutoring coordinator if you are interested in becoming a tutor. Tutors should have a 3.0 grade point average, a B grade or higher and a strong interest in helping other people. Student tutors are paid for their services.
