Mission
The Educational Opportunity Fund Program is dedicated to providing access to higher education for New Jersey residents who demonstrate potential and motivation to succeed in college, but would not be able to attend without the financial assistance and special support services that are an integral part of this program.
What is the EOF program?
The Educational Opportunity Fund was established in 1968 by the Legislature of the State of New Jersey. The program offers a gateway to Higher Education for those students who are highly motivated, but are significantly burdened by economic and academic disadvantages.
EOF at Burlington County College
Students who enroll through the EOF program at Burlington County College begin by participating in a one-day orientation program that introduces achieving behaviors such as persistence, sustained concentration, risk-taking and teamwork. These concepts are reinforced through a series of workshops provided throughout the academic year.
