Programs of Study|BCC Catalog and Student Handbook

Catalog
What is the catalog?

BCC issues a printed book every two years that tells you every degree and certificate program we offer, what courses are required for each, and the description of every degree course offered by the College for different semesters throughout the year. The catalog also includes information on BCC policies, procedures, student support services and faculty/staff listings. The current BCC Catalog covers the period July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2007. Catalogs are available for pick-up from BCC Campuses and Centers and mailed upon request.

Student Handbook
The Student Handbook is published every year and is available at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters.  This document contains important phone numbers to know, college policies, the academic calendar, building layouts and directions and a day planner calendar for the academic year.

What's the difference between the catalog and the
semester course brochure?

The smaller course brochure is printed and posted online before the start of each registration each semester. It includes admission and registration information, important term dates, and the times, locations, instructors and descriptions of courses being offered in that semester. BCC issues a separate semester course brochure for each semester's credit and non-credit courses. The course brochure is mailed to every residential address in Burlington County, distributed throughout the County at various locations, and is available for pick-up at BCC campuses and Centers. It is also available upon request.

If you're pursuing a degree or certificate, or wish to transfer your credits to a four-year college or university, the catalog will help you and your advisor chart the best courses for you to reach your goal. The course brochures will help you know when to register and what courses of your chosen major, or what non-credit courses, are being offered in a specific semester.
