Making your Online Registration a Smooth Process
BEFORE it’s time to register, take a couple minutes to log into your WebAdvisor account and make sure you have access to all the tools necessary for registering for classes. Also take some time to search the upcoming schedule, plan what classes you need and be ready to go when it is time to register.
WebAdvisor is compatible with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer (IE) 6.x, IE 7.0, IE 8.0 on Windows
- Firefox 1.7, 2.0+, 3.0+ on Mac, Windows, & Linux
- Safari 2.0+ and 3.0+ on Mac
That said, WebAdvisor has been proven to work best with Internet Explorer, as such it is the preferred browser.

To log in to your WebAdvisor account, your username will be firstname_lastname. If this is your first time logging in, your password will be your birthday in the form of MMDDYY. If you have logged in before, the system will have forced you to change your password. If you can’t remember what your password is, visit the “Main Menu” from the WebAdvisor homepage and pick the “Reset My Password” option to choose a new password. If you are still having trouble logging in, please contact the Student Information Desk at x1388 to get help resolving the issue.
We have made several improvements to the registration process; however you may be prevented from registering online due to:
- Not fulfilling defined course co or pre-requisite requirements;
- No open seats – class is at full capacity; and/or
- A financial, academic or code of conduct hold has been placed on your BCC account. Please see a representative in the Registration Office to resolve any such issues.
