BCLS's Making Cents: Selecting and Monitoring Your Investments

BCC and the Burlington County Library System (BCLS) are offering a series of six free money management and investment workshops for adults of all ages. The workshops will provide key information and strategies for finding money to invest, getting your finances in shape, paying down debt, understanding investment options and risks, selecting and monitoring investments, and investing for retirement.

Selecting and Monitoring Your Investments
July 19, 6:30-9 p.m.

Instructor: Dr. Barbara O’Neill
Develop a plan for selecting and monitoring your investments by identifying various types of investments, learning the characteristics of stocks and bonds, analyzing the performance of stocks, and using sources of investment information.

Investing for College and Retirement
July 26, 6:30-9 p.m.
BCC's Mount Laurel Campus, Laurel Hall, room 320
Instructor: Dr. Barbara O’Neill
Learn the key retirement planning factors to build a retirement investment portfolio by learning about IRAs, employer retirement savings plans, college, and more.

Additional session:
July 27, 1-3 p.m.
BCLS Westampton

Adults of all ages (i.e. military personnel, business owners, retirees, couples, singles, unemployed, employed, college students) are invited to attend one, several, or all of the free workshops; although it is best if attended in order as a six-session series.
