This very cool class will teach you the basics of acting for commercial and film scenes through reading scripts and improvisations. Your skills will be challenged here while we encourage you to take chances at developing your own style. You will learn how to take direction and work on-camera delivering lines on-cue. Ages 10-17.
Science Project: Make It and Take It Home: Roly Poly Robot Workshop
Your Roly Poly Robot will tumble, fumble, and stumble but will find a way to right itself up. The engineering genius behind this well thought out machine enables it to get on its feet whenever it tumbles and then will continue on its path of exploration. You will build and take it home and learn how it works. You can add your original work of art, drawing, or picture of your favorite person or pet and put it inside the dome. Robotic technology is the wave of the future. Join us in learning and having fun. Ages 6-11.
Crime Scene Investigation
You will be the super science sleuths. Have fun learning about forensics, crime scene investigations, and crime lab chemistry as you perform as many as 25 different experiments designed to show you just how those tricky cases are solved. Search for the evidence, gather clues, dust for fingerprints, analyze handwriting and discover how science can help solve a mystery. Ages 7-12
Introduction to Electronic Keyboarding (Youth Course for Ages 8 to 15)
The young musician will learn the basic elements of keyboarding, posturing, how to read clef notes, etc. Students will be able to play melodies after the first three lessons. Clavinova digital pianos by Yamaha will be utilized.
X-treme Radio Control Car Action (Ages 13 & up) Includes Car Kit!
Welcome to the fast action of radio-controlled racing. Learn the mystery behind radio transmitters and servos that control and operate your car. A professional Radio Control racer will teach you how to build a Team Associated R/C car or truck from kit form. Afterwards, race what you build at a local R/C racetrack! Students will learn to use their mechanical skills. Adults are welcome. Kit included in the course cost.

Music Video Production Camp
Learn what it takes to be part of creating a music video! Campers will story line, lip sync, choreograph and create some very cool moves and characters for on-location set-ups. Original dance techniques and teamwork performance are what makes this camp a true hit. Casting Director, Kathy Wickline will visit campers to speak about the industry.
On-Camera Acting for Kids & Teens Camp
Yes…an on-camera acting class for film and television geared for your child. Kids & Teens alike will develop their own original style using both basic as well as advanced level acting. Learn audition techniques for casting opportunities. Script reading, blocking and improvisation for camera will be taught through such projects as commercials, film scenes, sitcom skits, public service announcements and news casting. Casting Director, Kathy Wickline will visit campers.
Animation/Editing Camp
Create cool computer graphics and special effects while working on real footage shot by Film & TV Campers. In this camp you will create your own 3D animation, learn post-production techniques and apply your own visual and sound effects utilizing a popular editing program used by the industry. Some computer knowledge is beneficial but not necessary. Great camp for computer savvy kids.
TV Hosting and News Reporting Camp
Campers will learn to conceptualize the format needed to work in the following fields. Campers will learn just like the pros by delivering under “deadlines” while producing, directing and acting original material while working as an ensemble (cast & crew). The fun filled curriculum covers news anchoring, Sports Announcing for News, Weather ,Consumer Reports, Medical Reports, Field and Traffic Reporting and TV Hosting in Music, Talk Show, Entertainment, Cooking, Decorating and Home Shopping formats. Campers have a blast creating their characters and delivering like their favorite TV personalities.
BCC & Philly Camp
Live the dream! Join Phillies Players, Coaches and Academy Instructors this summer and learn from baseballs best! During this camp kids will meet Phillies players and coaches and receive a tour of Citizens Bank Park. This camp is for boys and girls ages 7 to 14. Uniforms are provided.
BCC Baseball Camp
The Burlington County College Barons Baseball camp offers young people the opportunity to learn all aspects of the game of baseball through hard work and fun. The camp features instruction from the nationally ranked BCC coaching staff and players. The instruction that you will receive in this camp is designed for your specific age group, and covers all facets of the game from all skill levels. The programs used are those that helped to build the BCC baseball program. The Barons Baseball Camp will provide you with a solid foundation of skills that will help you throughout your career.
Tennis Camp
Designed to help players at the Beginner and Intermediate Levels. Ages 12 & Up. Families are welcome! This is a rigorous 3 ½ hour, two-day-a-week tennis camp! Join us and take your game to the next level!
This camp includes:

Barons Basketball Clinic for Girls (Ages 7-15)
This clinic will teach young participants the basic skills of basketball by providing training in shooting, dribbling, rebounding and passing. The fundamentals of offense and defense will be taught. The older/skilled participants will be taught concepts, competition, teamwork and communication that can be generalized into everyday life. All participants will learn from theoretical as well as practical methods of teaching that will allow full understanding of the game through exposure to numerous drills and personalities. Players will receive a T-shirt. Players should bring a lunch including water bottle.
Barons Basketball Clinic for Boys (Ages 10-17)
A program of basketball skills and fundamentals mixed with playing short games. Participants will be taught concepts, competition, teamwork and sportsmanship, which can be generated into everyday life. Baron’s basketball participant’s methods of teaching that will allow full understanding of the game through exposure to numerous drills and personalities. Participants will learn conditioning and strengthening exercises to help improve overall game. Players will receive a T-shirt. Participants should bring a packed lunch and water bottle.
Discovery Channel Pre+ Med
Students embark on an amazing medical school experience as they explore the wonders of the human body. During this unique real-life science experience, students participate in the critical, high-stress environment of a modern emergency room. They grow bacteria, set a broken bone, discover the origins of disease, and learn about their bodies’ major systems. We will take a fascinating excursion into the realm of wellness and preventive medicine and discover ways to stay healthy. Available for children entering the 5th and 6th grades.
T-Rex
An unforgettable adventure that your child won’t want to miss! This is a unique dinosaur clinic that has been developed by Voyager Expanded Learning Programs and the Smithsonian Institute. Your child will travel back to one of the most fascinating periods of life on Earth- the Mesozoic Era’s Age of Dinosaurs. Your summer explorer will create a larger-than-life dinosaur, learn about the extinction of species and communicate daily with the Smithsonian Institute. This camp’s many exciting hands-on activities will stimulate your child’s mind in a fun environment.
Fashion Design Summer Workshop
This intensive studio workshop explores style, trend, theme and color palette formulation as it applies to like development for a specific fashion market. Each student will design, draft a pattern, and create merchandising materials promoting a variation of basic style. Workshop includes a field trip to New York City to shop for supplies and to talk with designers and manufacturers. Please come with a basic sewing ability. Supplies included with $25 course fee. The supplies include pattern making paper and muslin; all other sewing and art supplies to be provided by the student. Also, please bring a lunch each day.
Irving Fryar Day Football Camp
Overnight or Day Camps. The mission of the football camp is to provide an excellent opportunity for high school athletes to improve their basic skills in football, while also learning the importance of education and the process required for education continuance. This camp stresses discipline, teamwork, academic achievement, character, and hard work. Current and former NFL Players stopping by as special guests.
Learn To Swim Camp
For ages 6 and up, beginning- intermediate swim. This Learn-to-Swim Camp consists of swim lessons for the beginner through Intermediate swimmer. These lessons follow the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim newly revised program plus safety skills that are a MUST for all that are in and around water. Swimmers are placed in skill appropriate groups with a ratio of instructor to student about 1:8.
15 Sports camp
Experience over 15 sports in one week with the US Sports Institute. The US sports Institute is at the forefront of providing summer day camps in American communities. We enable each cam per to grow in an atmosphere that promotes integrity, self-esteem, positive values and good sportsmanship. The sports included in this program are: Badminton, Baseball, Cricket, Basketball, Net Ball, Field Hockey, Discovery Games, Olympic Games, Parachute, Pillo Polo, Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, World Cup. Ages 5-14. Half and full day camps available.
