Viewing Student Grades
Student Email Login
NOTES

WebAdvisor (WA) Login

1. Once on the BCC Website, scroll down to the quick links section on the left side of the page
    and click on the Online Registration/WebAdvisor link

2. The next screen will show your user ID for both WA and student email

3. Click on OK - which will bring you to the FAQ/login page

4. In the upper right corner click on the blue Log In Button 

5. Type in your user name: Firstname_lastname
    For example: michael_smith   NOT: mike_smith

6. Type in your password: birthdate MMDDYY (first time and until changed)
    For example: 010183 (January 2, 1983)  DO NOT USE / in between numbers

7. Click on the submit button  *see notes below*

8. You should then be on a menu page - click on the WebAdvisor for Students link

Viewing Student Grades

1. Follow WebAdvisor Login Procedures

2. Select the box next to the Term for which you wish to view grades

3. Click on the Submit button

4. Your grades for the term will be shown
    * If there are no grades shown, your instructor has not entered them yet
     Please contact the department secretary.

Student Email Login

1. Once on the BCC Website, scroll down to the quick links section on the left side of the
    page and hold your mouse over the email access link.

2. A pullout menu will appear with two choices.  Select the Student Email link.

3. Click on the login Button

4. Type in your user name: Firstname_lastname
    For example: michael_smith   NOT: mike_smith

5. Type in your password: birthdate MMDDYY (first time and until changed)
    For example: 010183 (January 2, 1983)  DO NOT USE / in between numbers

6. Click on the submit button 

7. You should be looking at your email account
    * If you are not able to login to your account, please call ext. 1970 and leave a
    message so the Office of Information Technology (OIT) can check your account.

8. For any other questions, please click on the Frequently Asked Questions link.

NOTES

1. If you receive a message stating that your account has been locked because of too 
    many login attempts, please wait 30 minutes and try again.

2. If you have forgotten your password, click on what's my password link and follow the
    prompts to have a new temporary password sent to your BCC email account

3. Logging in with a temporary password (i.e. birthdate - MMDDYY) will bring you to
   a password expiration screen. You will need to type in your user name and then
   type in a new password. You will need to type it in a second time to confirm it
   and then click the submit button.

4. If you do not have cookies enabled or if you do not type in a valid password (6 to 9
   characters including numbers and letters) you will not be able to log in until you correct
   these issues.

5. If you are not able to login to your account, please call ext. 1970 and leave a detailed
   message so OIT can check your account.
