Computer applications are involved in every aspect of our daily lives. Whether in arts and entertainment, health, science, medicine, education, government, economics and finance, or social areas, the use of computers and applications continues to grow.

The demand for Computer Science graduates continues to be strong. In fact, the greatest number of job openings in NJ are for Computer Programmers, with a $63,000 average starting salary*.

At Burlington County College, the Science, Math, and Technology Department is committed to providing the highest quality instruction in computational sciences and preparing students for industry and degrees in Software Engineering, Programming, Network Administration, and Computer Systems Analysis.

Burlington County College offers degree programs in the following areas:

  • Computer Information Systems (AS.INF)
  • Computer Management Information Systems (AAS.MIS)
  • Computer Science (AS.CSE)
  • Computer Servicing & Networking Technology Option (AAS.PCN)

We also offer Career Certificates in Networking Support and Servicing (SPC.EET).

In addition, bachelor's degree completion at Drexel University is possible through the Drexel @ BCC program.

The Division of Science, Mathematics, and Technology (SMT), also recognizes the importance of undergraduate research (UGR) and is committed to integrating undergraduate research into its programs. Our goals include introducing students to the application of the scientific method in research, and to providing an opportunity for students to work directly with faculty and industry in the design, execution and reporting of original research projects.

The degree programs at BCC in Computer Science have been accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc., which demonstrates a commitment to providing students with a quality education.
