Frequently Asked Questions

Accreditation, Recognition, Licensure, and Articulation Agreements
  • Bridges Christian College & Seminary is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education Commission on Accreditation (5850 T. G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, 407.207.0808) to grant certificates and degrees at the Certificate, Associate, Baccalaureate, Master’s degree, and Doctoral levels. www.abhe.org.
  • All degrees at Bridges Christian College are fully accredited by the ABHE Commission on Accreditation. ABHE is recognized by the U. S. Department of Education as a faith-based accreditor. In addition, ABHE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education as a faith-related accrediting agency for institutions in the U.S., Canada, and related territories that offer certificates, diplomas, associate, baccalaureate, and/or graduate degrees, including doctoral degrees.
  • This recognition also means that Title IV funding is available for undergraduate and graduate degrees for ABHE accredited institutions with the exception of doctoral degrees. The Commission’s scope of recognition with the U.S. Department of Education does not include doctoral education as it relates to Title IV funding. This means that doctoral education offered by ABHE-accredited institutions is accredited by a recognized accreditor (as noted above) but is not eligible for Title IV funding.
